ABOUT CAMTEX

The Chamber of the Textile, Clothing and Free Zones Industry of El Salvador (CAMTEX), arises as a result of the initiative of the entrepreneurs of the Textile, Clothing and Free Trade Zones sectors of El Salvador, to face with an aggressive business strategy, the new international order of the textile and clothing industry, as well as the sectors involved and related to the same

CAMTEX was born in November 2005 as a result of the union of the Salvadoran Association of Garment Industries (ASIC), Union of Textile Industries (UNITEX) and the Association of Free Zones of El Salvador (AFES) becoming the leadership of the Industry: Textile, Clothing and Free Zones, also including those companies related to these industries.

OBJECTIVES

Develop and promote the Textile Industry, Clothing and related sectors in order to increase their levels of participation in the international market.
Position the Textile, Clothing and Free Trade Zones Industry, nationally, regionally and internationally as an organized and integrated industry, with the capacity for innovation and immediate response to changes in the international market.
Generate activities and events, as well as become an executor of cooperation agreements that strengthen the industry at a national and regional level.
